Many times during the process of making this record, it felt like it would never happen. It was hard with Jason living in London, and Don Godwin and I mixing it in NYC. But we persevered and it was released on 2014’s Record Store Day on Northern Spy. It’s a great performance and I’m glad it’s out there. This is not available digitally – only on vinyl currently. NS has a few more and so do I – hit me up if you want one.

As to why there are two covers – Jason wanted to try for 2 covers – and have it so neither one was the “correct” cover. In order to do this the artist Dan Schechter had to flip the images so that when you are looking at either one, the opening of the sleeve is on the right. There isn’t a front really – however – Jason’s face is more recognizable than mine – and his face sells more records. . .so that’s what you tend to see out in the world. . .but this is my website. We’ve started working on mixing another live show we did in London. That will hopefully be finished by the end of 2015.
